At today's International Basel Open Masters in Basel, Lawrence Harley Wermelskirchen delivered a strong performance. The 17-year-old karateka competed in the Junior Kumite Male −68 kg and Junior Kata Male categories.

Lawrence particularly impressed in Kata, delivering a strong performance and achieving an excellent 4th place. In Kumite as well, he once again gained valuable international competition experience, measuring himself at a high level against strong athletes.

The Basel Open was thus another important step in his athletic development, showing his continuous progress at the international level.
