On Sunday, March 8, 2026, three of our young karatekas participated in the Junior Karate League in Kriens, demonstrating great dedication, strong performances, and a lot of fighting spirit.

A standout was Sara De Riso's impressive performance, as she achieved 1st place in the Kata Girls 10 years category with an outstanding display. With a very clean and strong kata, she clearly distinguished herself from the competition and deservedly secured the gold medal.

Sofia De Riso also delivered a great performance in the Kata Girls 12 years category, earning 3rd place with a focused and strong display.

Among the boys, Domenico Di Maulo also achieved a strong 3rd place in the Kata Boys 13 years category, thereby confirming his good form.

In Kumite, Sara also showed great fighting spirit and a very offensive performance. In an exciting match, she was narrowly defeated in the end.

Domenico also impressed in the Kumite Boys 13 years (-65 kg) category with a very strong performance. Unfortunately, he had to end the competition early due to an injury. Fortunately, the injury is not serious.

We are very proud of the achievements of our young athletes and warmly congratulate Sara, Sofia, and Domenico on their successes and their tremendous effort.
